Empowerment!

One thing that I absolutely love about doing photos shoots is the unleashing of the 'inner diva'.

It's so beautiful to see my clients standing in their power, owning their looks and holding their head up high in ultimate confidence whilst being photographed.

It may not always start out that way, some clients' insecurities start to play havoc.

Ashlee Rose (the photographer) however, has an amazing knack for making the person feel calm, comfortable and successfully guides the client through the process. She shows empathy and understanding when the self-doubts arises.

After the first 10-15 minutes it's like something clicks and the diva decides to show up. I can tell when a client is feeling themselves. The Smiles get bigger, sultry sexy moody faces appear, and pretty much flirting with the camera begins. I love It!!!! EMPOWERMENT!!!

Last week I witnessed "Goddess mode" with my client Max.

Here's what she posted after the shoot:

"Aint nothing better but to have a modelling shoot to uplift your confidence, when you aint felt your best! Unexpected things happen in life and I choose to be happy, despite the things that could have succeeded in bringing me down forever. The master of the Universe brings me right through it all *Prayer emoji *muscle arm emoji *heart emoji*

What a perfect day it was, I miss my modelling days *heart emoji* and to be there with my Granddaughter (she'd just woke up, no smiles *laugh emoji*) and daughter was an absolute blessing, so thanks to the most high, I am forever grateful *prayer emoji *heart emoji"

For Max's look she opted for a Body Wave weave with a centre part.

For her makeup I had to re-introduce myself to working with small eyelids. (It had been a while) I did a light brown smokey look with a touch of gold and a thin eyeliner (just realised I took ages to think about how to describe makeup effectively in words, I just do the damn thang!! hee hee!)

I'm looking forward to making more people feel as good as Max did. I can hear her voice now saying " I needed this" which she said a couple times throughout the day!
